Public art plays a significant role in expressing a community’s identity, building civic pride, and enhancing a sense of belonging, while also enhancing liveability for residents and visitors. The City of Gold Coast is investing in a series of upgrades to the 11th Avenue Palm Beach Community Space to better meet the needs of our growing community. This supports the centre’s transition into a more active community hub, continuing to deliver essential customer services while also creating flexible shared spaces for creative and cultural uses that enhance community value in Palm Beach. As part of the upgrades, a mural is proposed for the front of the building.
The City is now seeking Expressions of Interest from local mural artists, or mural artists with a connection to the Gold Coast who wish to be considered for this commission.
