Introduction

Council-led projects

The Gold Coast is already home to an incredible range of nature-based tourism experiences - from rainforest trails and hinterland retreats to island adventures and animal encounters. These existing products are a strong foundation, attracting visitors from around the world and connecting locals with our much-loved environment.
Now we’re building on that success. By expanding and diversifying our portfolio of sustainable nature-based experiences, we can offer even more ways to explore, relax and connect while ensuring our city’s unique natural and cultural heritage is protected for future generations.

To further extend and showcase the Gold Coast's nature-based tourism experiences, the City of Gold Coast is offering several opportunities to develop nature-based tourism experiences and product on select areas of public land, owned and controlled by the City.
