APPLICANT ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible as an Applicant you must meet the following criteria:

Are you an early career artist and aged 18 to 30 years?
Are you a Gold Coast resident? * Required

    PROOF OF GOLD COAST RESIDENCY

    For your application to be eligible, you must provide proof of residency within the boundaries of the City of Gold Coast Council.

    If you are unsure if your address is within the City of Gold Coast Council boundaries, please check it HERE

    The proof of residency document must include your own name and address and must be ONE of the following:

    • current Queensland Driver’s Licence, Heavy Vehicle or Marine Licence (front and back)
    • electricity, gas, or telephone bill issued within last 6 months
    • Queensland local government rates notice issued within last 6 months
    • bank statement issued within last 6 months
    • current Queensland vehicle registration certificate
    • current contract of property purchase, lease/rental document, mortgage/land ownership certificate
    • official letter from Centrelink or Department of Human Services
    • Australian Taxation Office assessment/Tax File Number confirmation notice
    • Australian Electoral Commission document (e.g. electoral enrolment card/letter)

      EMPLOYER LETTER (Not Applicable)

      Based on the information provided above, you have confirmed that you are an employee of:

      • The City of Gold Coast Council or
      • Experience Gold Coast (i.e. HOTA Gold Coast, BLEACH* Festival, Study Gold Coast, Destination Gold Coast or Major Events Gold Coast)  or
      • Any other Council Controlled Entity (e.g. Invest Gold Coast)
      • An organisation funded through the City Of Gold Coast Community Partnerships Fund or
      • An organisation funded through the City of Gold Coast Arts Development Fund.

      For your application to be eligible, you must upload a signed letter from your employer (CEO, Senior Management or Chair) stating that your application is not associated with the duties of your role within that organisation.

      • If you do not provide this letter, your application will be deemed ineligible and will not progress to the next stage of the selection process.
      • The letter must be maximum 1 x A4 page on your employer's letterhead.
